Fassbinder creates a (poorly made, with visible tracking problems) VHS montage with scenes of a french film dubbed in german, interrupted by news about Pinochet and an interview of Fassbinder! The film is Maurice Pialat’s We Won’t Grow Old Together (1972) from one of Fassbinder’s most emotional works, In a Year with 13 Moons (1978).
