In the peculiar world of It Follows, only peculiar classics could be featured. Right after the beginning of the film, before the troubles start, the kids watch W. Lee Wilder’s Killers from Space (1954).
Later on the film, Jay (Maika Monroe) can’t sleep alone and Paul (Keir Gilchrist) keeps her company. They watch together Peter Bogdanovich’s Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women (1968).
