In John Duigan’s nostalgic tale, Noah Taylor is going to ask the owner of the local cinema (Astor) if he could host additional screenings of Forbidden Planet. In the notieboard behind them, some posters are noticeable – John Ford’s The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962), Edward Dein’s The Leech Woman (1960) and Richard Quine’s The World of Suzie Wong (1960).

The second poster (Teenage Runaway) is from a film that doesn’t really seem to exist. A closer look at the third image reveals that it must be a poster collage made for the film – the title and the tagline above (You ‘re just no good!) reflect the feelings of Noah Taylor’s character for Freya (Loene Carmen).
